چکیده

s | 25 significant improvements in the variables of the WCST. There were significant decreases in fALFF in regions including the lingual gyrus, supramarginal gyrus, cingulate gyrus, precuneus, and middle frontal gyrus. Positive correlations were observed between changes in the CBCL scores and fALFF. Only the repetitive assault group showed significant decreases in CBCL scores and fALFF. Conclusions: The present results indicate that this anti-bullying intervention had positive effects on executive function and behavior that were associated with functional changes in brain activity. Brain Structural Changes Caused by Autism Spectrum Disorder Based on Volumetric Analysis of Magnetic Resonance Images: A Review Study

Background and purpose: Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a psychiatric disorder which occurs in early years of life and causes various individual and social problems. Early detection of autism would help in taking necessary precautions and preventing its adverse side effects. Methods & Materials: In this paper, we reviewed the articles that have investigated brain structural changes caused by...

The Profile of Functional Emotional Development of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders from the Perspective of Developmental, Individual Differences(DIR), Relationship-based Approach

Introduction: The dominant approach in the etiology and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a behavioral approach. Proponents of the behavioral model believe that children with autism in access to capabilities in achieving love, empathy, language and creative thinking, have significant fundamental defects.  Instead model-based development of individual differences relationship offers...

Age-dependent changes in the neural substrates of empathy in autism spectrum disorder.

In typical development, empathic abilities continue to refine during adolescence and early adulthood. Children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) show deficits in empathy, whereas adults with ASD may have developed compensatory strategies. We aimed at comparing developmental trajectories in the neural mechanisms underlying empathy in individuals with ASD and typically developi...

Feature Selection Based on Genetic Algorithm in the Diagnosis of Autism Disorder by fMRI

Background: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) occurs based on the continuous deficit in a person’s verbal skills, visual, auditory, touch, and social behavior. Over the last two decades, one of the most important approaches in studying brain functions in autistic persons is using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). Objectives: It is common to use all brain regions in functional extracti...

Autonomic and brain responses associated with empathy deficits in autism spectrum disorder

Accumulating evidence suggests that autonomic signals and their cortical representations are closely linked to emotional processes, and that related abnormalities could lead to social deficits. Although socio-emotional impairments are a defining feature of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), empirical evidence directly supporting the link between autonomic, cortical, and socio-emotional abnormaliti...
